Lessons & services
Lessons run 45 or 60 minutes in person, and 30, 45 or 60 minutes online — whatever makes sense for the student. Where you start is decided after a brief exchange about the student's experience and goals. A 15-minute introduction is available when useful. Students must already have a basic foundation on the violin.

For players who can already play the violin at a basic level and read basic music notation.
Suzuki repertoire and complementary technical work strengthen posture, bowing, intonation and finger placement. This level is for developing players rather than complete beginners picking up the instrument for the first time.
Starting with Suzuki Book 4 and beyond - the techniques that define real playing.
You begin essential advanced techniques: vibrato, complex bowing technique, and refined left- and right-hand agility. You also start exploring small solo repertoire, including beautiful but challenging pieces such as the Viotti and Vivaldi concertos.
For conservatory students and advancing professionals.
Advanced refinement and repertoire depth, focused on challenging pieces in the standard classical repertoire - from Bach to Tchaikovsky - to prepare you for auditions, performances and a professional career.
Instrument and bow selection, acoustics, sound production and soundcheck.
A one-to-one session for players comparing an instrument or bow, preparing for a trial, or working on projection and sound production. Baek draws on experience performing on instruments by historic and contemporary makers to help evaluate response, balance, tonal range and fit within the player’s budget.
