Violin lessons in Bergen County for developing and advanced players
Study in person with violinist and teacher Baek Kim. Lessons are shaped around the student’s current technique, repertoire and goals, from steady development to auditions and professional work.
Individual work in the room
In-person lessons allow close attention to balance, alignment, bow contact and the physical sequence behind a technical problem. Baek combines demonstration with specific adjustments and a practice plan the student can repeat independently.
Students should already be able to hold and play the violin and read basic music notation. The studio is not currently accepting complete beginners.
Adult learners
Focused instruction for adults continuing their study or returning to the violin with established fundamentals.
