Online violin lessons built around what the player can hear, feel and change
Work one-to-one with violinist and teacher Baek Kim on technique, repertoire and practice. Lessons are for young musicians and adults who already have a basic foundation on the instrument.
How online lessons work
Lessons take place on Zoom. Baek uses demonstration, close visual observation and clear practice instructions; students can also send short recordings when useful.
What you need
A properly sized violin, music stand, reliable internet connection and a device positioned so both hands and the full bow can be seen.
Who online study suits
Online lessons work well for developing and advanced students who can already hold and play the violin and read basic notation. They are also useful for adults returning after time away, players seeking a second perspective, and musicians who do not have access to the right teacher locally.
The studio does not currently accept complete beginners. If you are unsure whether your foundation is sufficient, a brief introduction is a simple way to find out.
